Not My Kind

The kind of men
Who want me to
Be silent
And not tell
Other women
About the pitfalls
And dangers
Of interacting
With the XY
Crowd,
Who want to
Mock and
Accuse
And label
Me Confused
Are the kind
Of men
That other
Women
Need to
Know
Exist.

The kind of
Men who
Don't want
Me to talk
About escape
And survival
And seek to
Stifle me
Are the kind
Of men who
Want you to
Believe
That this
Is the
Way of the world
And they are the
Big Man
But you only
Forever a Daddy's
Little Girl.

The kind of men
Who rattle my cage
Come with honey
Thinking painting
Reality as fear
Will allay or
Blur the indignity
Or make less clear
The dangers
To life and liberty
Are the kind
Of men
My sisters
Need to hear about.
I don't need your
Forgiveness
If I start to shout
"Fire!" in a crowded
Room while my
More brainwashed
Sisters sit quietly
As the flames
Rise higher.

Sisters! Women!
Heroines! Girlfriends!
Lend me your ear!
These kind of men
Will destroy
Every inch of you
And then claim
(if you live that is)
You are phobic
Hysterical and
Depressing.
So, sing your
Freedom!
Pronounce
Your words!
We might live in
A Kingdom
Be pushed off
The road
But the XX's
Are Goddesses
Who own
The living
Grass
Verge.
