Mother’s Day

I am taking the opportunity today to take a day off. No novel writing, no blog posting, no huge submissions fests trying to get my poetry placed. Nope. I am going to watch the Yankees double header and hope my fantasy baseball team holds on. Max Fried did good for me yesterday, but today I am going to need more than one good start! I woke up to tea, breakfast in bed, a nice book, and a Tim Lincecum baseball card. Tim will always be my favorite baseball player.

Things are quiet. I am glad for quiet. I just need a little more of it!

Happy mother’s day to all the mothers out there, especially the ones who suffered under the Hague Convention on Parental Child Abduction, like I did. Nothing can ever take away the love that is and was.

For anyone who wants to support this survivor mother’s writing, via patreon, it is at:

Have a great day!
