Man walks on stage, thinks: 
Time to shake up the 'test tubes'! 
"....There is a new strain..." 

I have spent two years - 
Shaken up and reacting
I am now inert.

Behind mask, rictus
Smile fixed spasm - no joy:
Still I pull it on
