San Francisco Bay. A Poem in Words and Photographs

golden gate bridge san francisco california
I left my heart in San Francisco Bay
My hope went much the same way
And my feet were stuck in old Japan.
My love, it goes with you
Though I'm diffused and blue
And the waves crash on the shore.
Take me far away from Cape Fear
The winters are too long and dismal here
Though my love abides with you.
Love, like a cherry tree grows
Love, it ebbs and flows
Down stream just you and me.
You say, North Country winters
Are much too harsh
The snow's chest deep in March
It strips the bark right off the trees.
Take me where the river flows
Take me to where our love grows.
And no one will ever Know.
I left my heart in San Francisco Bay
My hope went much the same way
My love it goes with you
Though I’m diffused and blue
Take me to where our love grows
Love like a cherry tree grows
…Far away from Cape Fear
And the waves crash on the shore.
You say north country winters are much too harsh..
Love it ebbs and flows

Yes to the photo… but it looked more like a camera trick to me (who hasn’t seen snow in years)… like you blurred something else to look like snow.

Those blossoms look like peonies!! I’ve only seen photos of very simply cherry blossoms. I don’t think I’ve seen any IRL.
